Marketing Lead
Decision making can be a broad, abstract topic. We are looking for an expert communicator that can drive Clearbox Decision’s efforts in educating potential clients and more broadly, business leaders, on the importance of effectively managing the decision process, the impact and how our Cloverpop platform can drive those results. In this role you will develop and drive our company’s marketing strategy. This will include coordinating the development and deployment of thought leadership articles, podcasts, webinars, marketing collateral and advertising tactics. You will manage our top-of-funnel pipeline, driving awareness and converting to qualified sales leads.
How you will grow:
This position will give a driven, ambitious marketer the opportunity to shape the marketing function at Clearbox Decisions. In addition to driving strategy, establishing the infrastructure, you will be responsible for building out the marketing team as we grow as a company. You will be working directly with our advisors and clients who are senior level executives at leading companies; this will provide a unique learning and networking opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop our marketing strategy, ensure it is aligned with overall business strategy and objectives
- Translating marketing strategy into a tactical plan and calendar
- Own the tactical plan, directing and coordinating the marketing efforts
- Work with leadership team to define marketing budgets and defining ROI measurements
- Work with our leadership team, advisors to support developing thought leadership content
- Manage and build-on our existing marketing tech platform (primarily Hubspot)

Role Description: As the Director of Finance and Operations, you will play an integral role within the organization, establishing and leading the finance function and scaling up critical operations across the company including HR, Strategic Planning, etc... This position will work closely with the executive leadership team as well as the board of directors and our investors.
Your Impact: As the Director of Finance and Operations, you will be the founder of our organizations finance and operations functions. The processes and reporting capabilities you will establish will be critical to the organizations strategic planning, decision-making and realization of our long-term vision. The capabilities you build will help shape and define our go-to-market strategy, ways of working and talent strategy.
Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Advise CEO on topics related to strategy development, opportunities to increase shareholder value, deploy and conserve capital and mitigate our operational risk
- Represent the organizations Finance, HR and Operations interests in leadership team deliberations
- Own budgeting, financial planning and long-range strategic modeling
- Partner with CEO on investor relations and lead reporting activities including materials required for board meetings
- Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual company performance reporting
Finance & Accounting:
- Direct all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting
- Develop accounting policies and ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Own all budgeting, forecasting and annual audits
- Oversee all aspects of accounting and tax policy
- Oversee and execute all aspects of contract-to-invoice, AR and AP
- Handle all company insurance matters to ensure compliance
- Oversee all full-time and contracted personnel related to function(s), including but not limited to contracted bookkeeper, Insurance Agent, Tax advisor, etc.
- Manage all equity / options issuances, ensuring they are accurate and up to date through our equity management platform, Carta
Commercial:
- Participate closely in contract pricing, negotiations, and related commercial decisions
- Work with Commercial and Product teams to develop optimal pricing strategy for existing and new offerings
- Ensure MSA’s and other related agreements are in place and up to date
- Work with Sales and Decision Success team to translate high level forecasts to account plans
- Own and drive gross margins through understanding and effective management of COGS
- Oversee bookings and ARR regarding policy, consistency and accuracy
- Manage and execute commissions in partnership with leadership
- Advise leadership on potential partnership opportunities, assessing potential commercial value, risks, and opportunities for success
HR:
- Oversee all aspects of HR, including implementation and execution of company policy, compensation and recruiting strategy
- Establish CLX compensation strategy, defining level and pay-bands across various functions
- Manage new-resource approval process and support hiring managers in process
- Establish new hire on-boarding process, periodic performance reviews, employee engagement monitoring and exit process
- Participate if/where needed in personnel matters that may arise
- Lead recruitment of HR lead once appropriate
Skills and Qualifications:
- An accounting designation and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration/Commerce
- 5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial management
- Experience working in a growing start-up environment strongly preferred
- Experience in SaaS software, Analytics / AI, is a huge plus
- Problem solving and recommendation development – You will need to have a fine-tuned ability to lead a structured problem-solving process that results in concrete business recommendations

Role Description: As a Decision Success Manager you will be working directly with clients in three key areas: 1) Through client interviews, baseline their current decision processes 2) Architect solutions to help improve their decision capabilities using our software and services and 3) Ensure our clients get the most value from our solutions by helping set up decision processes in the tool, interact with clients, etc.
How you will grow: As a Decision Success Manager at Clearbox Decisions, you will have the freedom to shape the role, and contribute to shaping the Decision Success function overall. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Decision Success and work closely with the CCO, CEO and Chief Product Officer to help execute our “land and expand” strategy and establish processes and best practices as we continue to grow. Given we are a start-up team, you may be asked to help lead and support other commercial related initiatives across Marketing, Sales or Service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client interviews to baseline current decision-making practices, manage pre / post interview activities
- Architect solutions to improve client success practices through our software and services
- Develop “decision trees” / decision playbooks to help our clients succeed in using the software
- Ensure clients are well trained in our software tools and have the best experience possible
- Support our business development activities and help expand our client relationships
- Support the VP of Decision Success as needed, including establishing best practices for the Decision Success function
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or similar experience
- BS degree from a reputable university / college
- Familiarity with developing and using problem solving frameworks (ex. issue trees, porters five forces, etc.)
- Exposure to decision-making processes across various functions such as marketing, sales or strategy (ex. pricing, brand positioning, innovation, etc.)
- Experience in consumer-packaged goods, pharmaceutical, consumer technology or other consumer industries (working in, or advising) is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Drive full-cycle sales processes, from prospecting to closing, for enterprise SaaS and AI-powered solutions (including modules like forecasting and optimization).
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations (F500 CPG, Pharma, Financial Services, Retail).
